Roleplaying Suggestions for Players
Roll 1d6 to determine how your character might feel in this particular encounter:
You don't like this character. They said something that reminds you of a negative aspect of your background or you notice a character trait you don't like.
You think you're on the same page about some unspoken words with another member of your party. Maybe you are, maybe they have no idea what you're on about.
You're very interested in what this character has to say about the people around them.
You're curious what this character thinks about the current events.
Another member of your party has something stuck on them; maybe it's lettuce in their teeth, part of their clothes are still burning from that encounter with the dragon, or an animal is digging in their bag.
You're entranced by this character. They said something you're passionate about or you find them super attractive/interesting. This can be a romantic crush or just a friendly obsession.
Sometimes it's a struggle to think of how to act in a roleplaying scenario. This simple d6 table can help give you a starting point for you to "yes and" off of.
Or, maybe your roll will just help you think of doing something else entirely!
